I am…. I am a Colorado Native I am a Mommy I am a Daughter I am a Believer I am a Dreamer I am an Aquarius I am Confident I am Intelligent I am Positive I am Courageous I am Sophisticated
My Birth Story..It all started on February 4, 1998 the day my mom went to the doctor for a checkup she was 42 weeks as they were taking her vital signs they noticed her blood pressure was high. The doctor watched her there for the day and it was not going down. They decided to admit her to Valley View Hospital, where she then stayed for two nights and on the second day they came to the conclusion that it was best for me to come out so they induced my mom on Feb. 4, 1998 at 7:00am. My mom’s contractions started about an hour later lasting for two hours it was then time to push. My dad barely made the labor in time because he was taking my two year old sister to the babysitter. By the time my dad made it to the hospital my mom was in the labor room. She was hooked up to monitors that were watching my heart rate and timing the distances between each contraction. They were checking how dilated my mom was and she was ten centimeters at nine in the morning and it was time to push; my mom kept pushing for 30 minutes. After all the pushing she got to meet her second beautiful daughter. My weight was 8.11 pounds and I was 21 inches. They named me Haley Nicole Blea because they both really liked the name. After the labor, the doctors took me to get cleaned up first, then they cleaned up my mom shortly after. They brought my sister and brother into the room to meet me for the first time, my sister got to hold me, and that was when our bond began . My Parents My dad’s name is John Blea, he’s a plumber in Aspen. He loves to watch football and his favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs. He also likes to go camping and jeeping, as well as spending time with his family. My dad is an awesome man and I couldn’t ask for a better dad. My mom’s name is April Blea, she is a nurse and her favorite hobby is quality time with her family. She loves going shopping and jeeping as well. My mom is a good person for everything she does. I love my parents so much and I am so thankful for everything that they do for me. I don’t know what I would do without them.
My Sibling’s My brother is 30 years old, his name is Josh. He is my half brother but I think of him as my real brother. We have a really good connection between us. Josh has his GED and now he’s a plumber like our dad. My brother’s favorite hobby is to snowboard at Sunlight, he loves to camp and he spends most of his time outdoor enjoying life. Brenda is my sister in law, and Josh admires his time spent with her. My sister is 20 years old, her name is Brooke. She graduated from Coal Ridge High School and now she lives in Grand Junction. She attends college at CMU and is looking forward to pursue her dreams into the medical fields. Brooke is also a full time mommy with her new baby girl, whose name is Lilyana. Brooke loves to go shopping, camping ,fishing, and also she kind of likes to go snowboard not as much as we do. My Pivotal Moment I was about six years old and I was on my way home from school. My sister and I went to the elementary school in Carbondale. My mom used to work at the Nursing home there. We stop at City Market, and my sister and I wouldn’t put our seat belt and on my mom was telling us to get our seat belt on. We were at a stop light on Grand in Glenwood Springs and there were a few car behind us. There was a guy that was drinking and driving. This guy didn’t see that the traffic was at a stop. He slammed in the back of a car a few cars back and it was a pile up, just before the crash my sister and I just got our seat belt on and our mom was telling us that you should always wear your seat belt when you get in the car and that you never know when you are going to get in a car crash they also save your life right. Right when she turned around the guy slammed into the cars and caused a car pile up. My moms Durango was totaled. Lucky my dad was getting off of work, he saw my mom’s Durango getting lifted on that tow truck he told his co work to let him out. By the time my dad got to the crash we had the get all of our stuff out of the car. My parents had to call their friend Kim and she gave us a ride home. I learned that you should always wear your seat belt and cause you never know when you are going to get in a car crash another thing is that you should never drink and drive because you aren’t only putting yourself in danger you are putting others in danger as well. Things That Make Me Most Happy. My son Andrew make me so happy. I love spending time with Andrew; he’s the best baby. I also love to spend time camping outdoors. Winter makes me so happy; I love the snow and to go snowboarding and sledding. I love to go walking in the nature. Another thing that make me happy is getting my own time, to do art and go for walks and not have anyone around me. Something else that make me happy is being able to breathe and walk everyday.
Things That Make Me Sad. Things that make me sad is bullying, lying and also people that abuse and neglect their kids. Another thing that make me sad is how wasteful the United States are with food that goes bad at the grocery store when there are people in this world that are starving. Another thing that make me sad when people are texting and driving. They aren’t only putting their life endanger they are putting everyone else endangered to. Also when other are getting mistreated by their loved ones. My Strengths, Talents, and Gifts. Some of my strengths are I’m a great supporter, listener, helping people with anything they need. I’m also an awesome teacher. I love teaching kids. It makes me feel good that I can help kids Learn new things everyday. Some of my talents are art and snowboarding.
What Area in Life That I Need To Work On.I need to really work on anger and how to control myself in those times. I need to work on not getting so worked up on something that is not even worth it. To control what to react to and what not to react to. Something else I need to work on is controlling my inner thoughts to think positive and not always thinking about the bad but to really focus on the good thing in life. I also need to work on my communication skills to not just say what's going on in my head to really think before I go off and start talking. To make sure what I am saying is the right thing that should be said. Another thing I need to work on is not to bring myself down to only bring myself up.
Religion/Spiritual I believe in God, but I’m not baptized. I have been raised to go Catholic Church. We use to got to Church every Sunday when I was a little girl, but as I got older we didn’t go as much. We started going when I had Andrew, so that Andrew would be raised in that type of environment. I normally go to Church when something bad is going on in my life and I need some guidance. I also attend when I want to get my life back on the right track if I am finding myself doing bad things is when I tell myself it time to go other than that we only go when my Grandparents are in town or we are at their house.
Define Beauty Beauty isnt all about looks, it is about the kind of person you are. Beauty is found in almost everyone. Your Personality is what makes the beauty come out of you. Attitude and respect have a big part in beauty. If you have an ugly attitude than you look like you have a ugly personality. You should always have respect for yourself and also everyone that’s around you.
Define FriendshipA friendship can start anytime in your life. There should be a relationship and a bond. You should be loyal and there should be trust and you guys should always have fun. What a home A home is a place where you can go and be yourself and where there is a roof over your head. A home is where you can be be safe. It’s a place to keep you warm at night. The Three most Important Characteristics for Being a Good Parent. The three most important characteristics for being a good parent are, to always try your hardest, remain happy, and try your best not to yell at them and if they do something wrong get to eye level and explain what’s the problem. Personally, I think spanking your kid for a punishment, is not the best strategy. Explaining to them what they did wrong and then redirect them to something they can do until they are old enough to give them a timeout but only if the age is right. What Do I Need To Focus on Right Now For My Future Happiness!!!I need to finish high school, start applying for college and hopefully get into the nursing program. From there I want to become a CNA and then become a Registered nurse. I just need to graduate and the start my new chapter in my life. I’m Grateful for…..
